We currently have three areas for which we are looking for people:

• Core machine-learning R&D and consulting.

We are specifically looking the hire people with the following skills.

Artificial Intelligence Developers

• We are currently looking for people with a strong background in statistical AI and machine learning, with the desire to apply these technologies to real-world problems. Techniques of interest include bagging and boosting, support vector machines, neural networks, and Bayesian networks, as well as evolutionary techniques like learning classifier systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical theory. Experience with object-oriented design and programming is desirable, preferably in C++, as well as experience with R, S-Plus and Mathematica. Experience in the financial services sector is also a plus.

• Applicants should be skilled programmers with significant experience in object-oriented programming using C++, with the ability to architect and deploy new systems. Experience with R, S-Plus, Python, and C# is also relevant. Experience with Linux clusters is a plus, as is experience in writing distributed systems, SQL, and dealing with time series data. Familiarity with AI techniques is also a plus, as is experience in the financial services sector. A minimum of a BS in computer science is required.

Database Developer and Data Modeler

• Candidate will be responsible for integrating new data feeds into our databases and for working with our quantitative analysts to process this data into new indicators and trading systems.

  Applicants must have a strong background in relational data modeling and be fluent in SQL. Experience with R, S-Plus, Matlab or another vector-oriented language is also required, as is experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby. Experience with financial data and time series modeling is desirable. The ideal candidate will also be proficient with C++.
